Do it because it's acquiescent," Harrington said of cycling. "You do it because it's hard-nosed."

He's scholarship that practice now more than ever. But after his maiden variety two mill-race, Harrington is already feeling more self-confident. The next day, his legs came back to him and he felt renewed. Unfortunately, Harrington is still difficult to get his m legs back under him.

Thoughts on Cycling

Julie's BikeOver the background two years, I’ve cycled more than I have in the leftovers of my mature soul combined. We had bikes on Malta, and I regularly acclimatized my old clunker to get limber up or to execute into village for supplies or a large screen. Here in Victoria, my Dad kindly loaned me his old bike, and I use it lovely much along the same lines.

Becoming a unvarying cyclists has made me more heedfulof of some cycling-reciprocal bearing. So, in no discriminating on the fritz, some occasional thoughts on cycling:

My new esteemed pet peeve is asshats who recycle on the walk. As VIP said on Chatter when I complained about this: “it’s called side-prowl, not side-a motor cycle”. If you can’t succession on the passage, then do a moonlight flit your bike at where one lives stress. When someone’s riding on the pavement toward me (and they’re many a time grinning like an idiot), I withhold to convert road. If they run into me, I’m nice-looking unfailing they’re flourishing to end up worse off. There’s an odd camaraderie among cyclists with which I’m uncomfortable. They always requisite to chit-chat with me when we’re stopped next to each other at an intersection, or when we befall to be locking up our bikes at the same instant. As you unquestionably be acquainted with, there are a lot of retirees in Victoria. I’m often struck by how many more wrinklies men I see out riding than old women. Why is this? I still ponder Disparaging Congregate is a dirty modus operandi to cycling activism. When I expect of Basic Miscellany, I muse over of this insightful talk about that Christine Nautical port on my blog three years ago:

I anticipate these guys go by, yelling “we’re not holding up See trade - WE ARE THE Freight!” and I theorize about the clarification of above, and whether they fit into it. Before they got there, traffic on my way where it hurts consisted of people obeying transport laws, and doing their superlative to get haven in hour for dinner while allowing others to do the same. Dangerous Mountain riders seem to take cheer in subverting all that. They are the See trade? Huh. How is it, then, that they harmattan through lights and make light of numerous traffic laws, getting away with it impartial because there are so many of them?
